Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Technical Accountant to participate
on a collaborative team that supports the Corporate Accounting
department in its mission to ensure that Raytheon Technologies'
financial reporting is timely, accurate and reliable.
The Candidate will have the opportunity to:
Required Education, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum two years of experience in accounting / finance
roles.
- Experience with public company accounting / financial reporting
matters through either public accounting experience or industry
experience.
- Sound analytical, problem identification, problem-solving and
decision-making skills.
- Ability to be innovative and use critical and strategic
thinking.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including
ability to communicate effectively with all levels of
management.
- Ability to flexibly work and learn in a fast-paced, changing,
team environment.
- Proficiency relative to PC-based software applications.
Not Required, but Valuable:
- Aerospace and defense industry experience.
- CPA, CMA or other professional certification.
