Job Description:
The Equity and Recovery Outreach Youth Worker - Portuguese will
help disseminate information and connect community members to
resources that will aid in their post-pandemic recovery, including
housing, food access, financial support, employment, trainings, and
health. The Equity Outreach and Recovery Youth Worker - Portuguese
would support community outreach efforts in particular to
Portuguese-speaking youth in the community.Methods of outreach will
include but are not limited to event tabling, community
walk-abouts/roaming, office hours, drop-ins at partner
organizations/businesses, distributing flyers and phone-based
outreach.The position requires a commitment of 10 hours of work a
week on average, through June 30th, 2023.Recommended Minimum
Qualifications:One (1) or more years of directly relevant
experience engaging with vulnerable populations and connecting them
to services.Experience connecting with youth and creating safe
spaces for young people to thrive.Must be 16+ to apply.Must be
