ABOUT THE FLOCK
As a Senior Tax Accountant reporting to the Director, Tax, you will help to bring more patients their bluebird days by supporting the income and non-income tax processes. Come work with a group of birds dedicated to making a difference for patients and their families!
HOW YOU'LL FLY
You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:

• 
  
• Preparing the income tax provision, including calculating book/tax differences, deferred taxes, and tax account reconciliations
  
• Working with outside service providers to prepare US income and franchise tax compliance including calculating book/tax differences, estimated tax payments, and state apportionment
  
• Maintaining tax compliance calendar to ensure all filings are completed timely
  
• Preparing US non-income tax compliance, including sales and use and property tax
  
• Handling tax notices and audits
  
• Assisting in tax planning projects
  
  WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  You're the bird we're looking for if you have:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required with 2-4 years of experience in corporate taxation (public accounting experience preferred), including compliance and income tax provisions (preferred but not required)
    
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and data integrity
    
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
    
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline driven business
    
  • Proactive nature, enthusiasm, great analytical skills and problem solving ability
