  • Perform month-end close procedures, including preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
  • Post journal entries to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement annual budget plans.
  • Manage accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and resolving outstanding balances.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and answering inquiries.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve financial processes and procedures.Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
    • Proficient in bank reconciliations, month-end close procedures, and posting journal entries.
    • Experience with annual budget planning and monitoring.
    • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
