Senior Business Banker - Boston, MA Market The Senior Business
Banker plays a critical role in driving the growth and
profitability of the bank by generating new deposits, business
loans, treasury management services, and other revenue streams.
They focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships
with businesses in the $2mm-$20mm space within their assigned
market. Primary responsibilities include meeting with prospects to
bring in new relationships, developing strong COIs in the
marketplace, and closing new business opportunities. This role
places a strong emphasis on prospecting and business development,
as well as deepening relationships with existing clients. Key
Responsibilities: Proactively generates new business by prospecting
for deposits, lending, treasury management, merchant services and
other banking solutions. Meet with prospects to bring in new
relationships, develop strong COI relationships in your market, and
close new business opportunities to grow the bank’s client base and
revenue. Build and maintain a robust network of centers of
influence (COI’s), including CPA’s, attorneys, commercial real
estate agents, and other professionals, to drive referrals and
business growth. Retain and manage clients within your portfolio,
with a focus on deepening relationships and cross selling
additional products and services to meet client needs. Collaborate
with the Business Banking Client Service team to deliver
exceptional service and ensure a seamless banking experience for
all clients. Maintain a strong understanding of Capital One’s
credit policy, ensuring compliance while effectively evaluating and
mitigating risk. Skills: Proven experience in business development,
with a strong track record of generating and closing new business
through prospecting. Established network of centers of influence
and demonstrated ability to grow this network through active
engagement and networking events. Strong business development
skills with the ability to build trust with prospects, clients, and
professional partners. Expertise in deposit acquisition, treasury
management, credit solutions, and other banking products.
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. A
Business Banker's success is driven by the ability to prospect and
develop lasting relationships, close new business, and deepen

Banking experience Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of

annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please
note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to
perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the
amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed
upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Cambridge, MA:
$163,900 - $187,100 for Sr. Business Banker Candidates hired to
work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated
with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered
to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in
the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn
performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash
bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be
discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan. Capital
