The Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is accountable for the execution of the project lifecycle processes at Allways Health Partners. Ensuring delivery of the right enterprise project work - on time and within budget - across the organization. Works closely with the Executive Team to advise on project intake and sequencing based on resource allocation, timing demands and other issues to ensure balance between lights on and project work. -
The Director will enable the President and Executive Committee to work most effectively with internal and external stakeholders and fulfill commitments to Allways Health Partners, Board of Directors, MGB Executive team, etc. This is a highly strategic and facilitative position that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind the scenes role. The role requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation and strong analytical skills. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships within and outside the organization necessary to facilitate completion of items on the corporate agenda.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - --- Create and manage the Enterprise Program Management Office to execute and implement programs and projects as selected and prioritize by the Executive Committee
--- Integrate Business Analysis team with Program Support team within the EPMO
--- Create and drive best practices, metrics, policies and tracking mechanisms across the organization: work initiation, user story/requirements gathering/documentation, program tracking, trade-off analysis, business case development, program reviews, escalation processes, resource planning/allocation, program performance metrics and more.
--- Identify and coordinate cross-organizational related work and opportunities.
--- Support lights on work as needed with a goal of consistency in process development/documentation and appropriate organizational accountability.
--- Identify and resolve areas of uncertainty or conflict between departments and LOB leadership in order to best support decision making for executing the long-term strategic plan. -
--- Works closely with executive leadership and strategic planning to maintain all updates/revisions to the Investment Roadmap.
--- Manages and advocates for communication of organization priorities, programs and outcomes of strategy execution. -
--- Accountable for adapting frameworks used to execute projects to ensure that the approach matches the context and constraints of the organization. -
--- Create centers of excellence (CoE) for project management and business analysis competencies across AllWays Health Partners. -
--- Lead change management activities including driving a continuous improvement culture/mindset.
--- Assist business areas in creating & maintaining process documentation as work transitions from project to operational process
--- Ensure business process development and/or maintenance is part of all project work is completed as project closeout task -
--- Maintain connection of policy, process and procedures across the enterprise
--- Inform, engage, inspire, motivate, and actively listen to employees. -
--- Make decisions that put the needs of the people we serve-our members, providers, brokers, and employers-front and center.
--- Communicate and cascade information to employees in a timely manner and actively participate in the success of cross-organizational programs and initiatives.
--- Identify/create processes and align resources to accomplish key objectives; clearly convey and assign clear accountability for important objectives, deadlines, and expectations.
--- Hire, participate in, and/or recommend development measures and disciplinary actions up to and including termination; evaluate performance and supervise the work of all direct and indirect reports following established organizational policies, procedures, and practices.
--- Set clear goals and objectives, use metrics to measure performance, and hold employees accountable. Provide coaching to improve performance and holds regular development meetings.
--- Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are integrated as a guiding principle.
--- Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
--- Persist in accomplishing objectives to consistently achieve results despite any obstacles or setbacks.
--- Build strong relationships and infrastructures that designate Allways Health Partners as a people-first organization. -

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT - --- Work is normally performed in a remote/hybrid environment.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION -Required:
--- Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare or business-related field, or the equivalent combination of training and experience, or commensurate managerial experience
--- PMP certification or 7+ years of complex project & process management experience
Preferred/Desired:
--- MBA or other advanced degree -
--- Agile Project Management Certifications e.g., CSM, etc.
-EXPERIENCE Required:
--- 5+ years management experience -
--- 7+ years project management experience
--- 10+ years operations-related experience
--- Experience and familiarity with health insurance, managed care or health care business environments
--- Experience managing projects involving business to system and/or system to system integration
Preferred/Desired:
--- High-level healthcare financial systems experience
--- Experience in managing relationships with consultants and/or vendor partners
