Job Description Job Description Apply below or send resume to rob@zarrellco.comSafety Coordinator Location: Worcester, MA (Travel throughout MA & CT) Compensation: $70,000–$100,000 (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support commercial construction projects based out of Worcester, MA, with regular travel to job sites throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. This role is responsible for promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, and partnering with field leadership to maintain safe, efficient job sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and experience working on commercial construction projects. Key ResponsibilitiesSite Safety Oversight Conduct routine job site safety inspections and audits Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions Training & Communication Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings Assist with onboarding and safety orientation for new employees Provide ongoing safety education and support to field teams Incident Management Investigate incidents, near-misses, and injuries Prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive measures Track safety metrics and maintain accurate documentation Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations Maintain required safety documentation and reporting Support OSHA inspections and related compliance efforts Travel Requirements Regular travel to job sites throughout MA and CT Qualifications OSHA 30 certification required 4 years of experience in a safety role within a construction company Commercial construction experience strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards Ability to identify risks and implement practical safety solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $70,000–$100,000 (DOE) Vehicle allowance or company vehicle gas card Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and holidays Opportunity for professional growth and advancement
