Job Description Job Description Charters Brothers Construction is a dynamic and growing commercial Construction Manager and General Contractor based in Southern New Hampshire. Founded in 2005, we’re proud to celebrate over 20 years of excellence in the industry. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a talented Estimator or Assistant Estimator to join our team. The final role will be determined based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new bid opportunities Review bid documents thoroughly and organize estimating efforts Submit RFIs to design teams as needed Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and site visits Solicit competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers Review and qualify incoming bids for accuracy and completeness Perform detailed quantity take-offs and tabulate bids Prepare comprehensive estimates and review with the Senior Estimator Participate in estimate hand-off meetings with Project Managers Support change order pricing and project adjustments as needed Ideal Candidate Profile: Background in commercial construction estimating (experience level will determine final role) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience.
