ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are now accepting applications for experienced elementary school
teachers in all grades for the 2025-2026 school year. We dont yet
know what our openings will be, but wed like to be in touch with
you if you are job searching for next year. -
The salary range for experienced teachers new to Match is
$67,993-98,899 and is determined by the candidates prior years of
full-time teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive
benefits package that includes 90% coverage of employee health
insurance costs and up to $150/month in loan repayment assistance.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching positions are based at Match Community Day, our PreK-5
elementary school located on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. Working
hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-2:45pm. On Wednesdays, all staff
stay until 4:30pm for professional development, meetings and work
time. -
Teachers are responsible for: -
- Preparing and delivering classroom instruction and support in
Match classrooms
- Upholding high academic and behavioral expectations for
students, and provide lots of support for getting students
there;
- Communicating regularly and proactively with families;
- Participating actively in Matchs coaching and professional
development programming;
- Assisting with school programming as needed during
non-instructional time; and
- Serving as a positive and collaborative member of the Match
Charter Public School community

We are looking for applicants who:
- have at least two years of full-time experience as classroom or
special education teacher, preferably in an urban education
setting;
- hold a valid and appropriate educator license issued by the
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, or
obtain the licensure within a year of date of hire;
- believe that all students can and will succeed;
- Have a desire to continually improve their practice as a
teacher by taking and implementing feedback; -
- have a proven record of student success and achievement;
and
- demonstrate an ability to work well on a team, and a
willingness to support others in doing their best work.
