Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This position offers an opportunity for a Special
Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to students from
PreK through 4th grade. Located in Hartford, CT, this full-time
contract role is available immediately and continues through the
end of the current school year. The role is ideal for educators
holding a Connecticut Special Education (SPED) license who are
passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Collaborate with general
education teachers, therapists, and families to support student
success Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
Adapt curriculum materials to accommodate learning challenges
Provide a safe and positive classroom atmosphere that encourages
social and academic growth Qualifications: Valid Connecticut SPED
teaching license Experience working with students in PreK to 4th
grade Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and
best practices Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and engage with diverse
