Job Description:
The Role:Moderna is in search of a dynamic and bold analytics
leader to join us in re-imagining and building an innovative data,
analytics and experimentation incubator to accelerate and drive
commercial excellence. We are looking for someone who has a proven
record of delivering transformative and value-generating data and
analytics solutions to address strategic commercial opportunities
and challenges. You will build and lead a core data, analytics and
optimization capability within Moderna that guides global
commercial and business decisions through financial, operational,
and strategic analysis. You will build and embed cutting-edge
analytics and insights solutions to deliver high impact commercial
launches for Moderna---s COVID 19 Vaccine and other pipeline
medicines, fuel relevant customer engagement with intelligence, and
drive continuous optimization of marketing and field initiatives.
You will serve a business translator and work side-by-side with
business leaders across all functions and serve as the key
point-of-contact in the areas of brand planning, business
performance, strategic insights and optimization. If you are

vision and global data/analytics strategy in support of all
commercial initiatives and teams. You will gain alignment on this
vision and strategy across the organization.Design and build a
modern data stack/infrastructure/capability that procures and
integrates various data sets including, but not limited to digital
engagement data, customer profile data, product data, transactions,
EHR data and other real-world evidence data sets. Lead data
management and governance in partnership with Moderna---s
informatics team.Lead the design and development of advanced
analytics/AI/ML models for use cases such promotional response
(i.e. ROI/ROMI), payer/channel analytics, field force effectiveness
and optimization, dynamic target segmentation (HCP/Consumer),
demand forecasting, customer lifetime value, incentive
compensation, next-best experience recommendations, resource
allocation/scenario planning, voice of customer/NLP analytics,
patient journey analytics, omni-channel performance analytics and
commercial opportunity assessment among others.Build and lead
strategic partnerships and hackathons with data and analytics
innovators (such as data providers, analytics accelerators,
universities and FAANG among others) to boost long term commercial
growth.Instill a culture of continuous learning and optimization.
Design and deploy tools/methodologies to embed experimentation as a
core capability within the commercial organization. Design and
activate ongoing experiments to evaluate, optimize and generate
actionable insights/recommendations related to audience targeting,
channel, content/message, and or sequencing within relevant
channels such as, but not limited to, TV, print, email, web,
mobile, search, display, call center and social media. Develop,
maintain and refresh playbooks, frameworks, methodologies, and
processes for the tactical channel optimization of commercial
programs (including marketing campaigns).Design, develop and embed
an integrated performance measurement planning process, unified
metrics architecture and commercial reporting
infrastructure.Partner with the digital experience technology team
and marketing to co-architect the omni-channel analytics path
(offline online) and a modern digital/marketing/analytics tech
stack, covering all stages of the customer purchase/advocacy
funnel. Lead and develop a global strategic market research and
competitive intelligence program to empower commercial and
therapeutic program teams with compelling customer insights and
evidence for faster and smarter decisions. Lead learning agendas
development and hypothesis generation. Build an insights library to
effectively manage the organization and re-use of research findings
and customer intelligence.Collaborate and partner effectively with
various stakeholders across the enterprise including Informatics,
Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical, Supply Chain and
Commercial Operations teams.Build, lead and mentor a high
performing team of data and analytics experts (comprising of a mix
of internal and external partners) to deliver value with agility,
flexibility and scalability as needed by the organization. What
you---ll bring to the table:15 years of data and analytics
experience in health care; MBA or MS in a quantitative field
preferred5 years of building and leading a high performing
analytics team in direct and matrix environments to deliver
commercial data & analytics solutions Hands on experience in
crafting a strategic vision, roadmap and tactical plan and applying
principle of design and system thinking to create value-driving
analytics solutionsDeep expertise in market research and customer
insight development and applicationsDeep understanding of data
management, data science, data privacy and governanceProven
experience integrating digital with offline data for richer
business insightsExperience in advising and influencing senior
level management/key stakeholdersStrong ability to understand
market trends, financial data, customer needs, and assess
competitive intelligence dataProven ability to influence and
effectively drive organizational change and continuous
innovation.Experience in analytics strategy and consulting is a
