General Overview Sets the vision and drives the development and implementation of key talent attraction, acquisition, and onboarding strategies for the Mass General Brigham enterprise to attract diverse, talented people to help make a positive impact on the communities we serve. Serves as a thought leader and change agent to work with leadership across the system to align recruitment messaging in labor markets to speak with a strong, single system voice while leveraging the strengths and unique identifies of our entities, expands our impact by improving processes and coordinating activities within talent acquisition specialties, enhances candidate outreach, access and improves candidate experience, improves the efficiency and effectiveness of talent acquisition and onboarding activities, to reduce the total cost and expand our reach, and optimizes the use of technology for performance support to positively impact experience and job satisfaction. Develops long-term plans that impact the achievement of operational strategies. Drives change transformation to achieve coordinated and integrated talent acquisition across the enterprise. Demonstrates leadership versatility. Principal Duties and Responsibilities --- Leads the enterprise talent acquisition center of excellence by evolving the function from hospital-based to specialty-based teams while building strong interpersonal relationships with team leaders and stakeholders. Builds partnerships with operational leaders to develop successful and innovative talent acquisition programs, best practices, processes, and systems to elevate the entire function while building on a strong organizational brand.
--- Leads, plans, organizes, and directs all recruitment and retention functions. Maintains overall leadership of the organization's recruiting, training, hiring, placement, development, and promotion activities.
--- Champion DE&I hiring initiatives leading to the successful adoption of inclusive hiring initiatives to increase diverse--hiring within the organization. Lead the creation of a strategic plan to further our diversity recruitment activities and community partnerships with the DE&I office.
--- Establishes and integrates college internship recruitment framework to develop long-lasting relationships with top colleges both locally and nationally to attract top talent for both clinical and non-clinical roles. Partner with Workforce Development to create strategic training programs that help fill both current and future staffing gaps using predictive analytics and market data.
--- Champion the development and successful launch of two new TA departments; executive recruitment and demand hiring models. Including communication to system leadership, tracking of results and adjusting plans based on feedback and results.--
--- Analyzes and understands the employment value proposition and designs relevant messaging to develop a differentiated employment recruitment brand, in partnership with the Marketing team. Optimizes and utilizes social media venues (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and other emerging technology to ensure a positive employer brand and to conduct ongoing outreach to qualified and passive candidates. Continuously exploring new technology to compliment both our current and future state of TA with the goal to development a TA technology roadmap that would keep this department best in class.--
--- Hold TA Leaders accountable on established recruitment metrics and SLAs to assure diversity, efficiency, and continuous alignment with business objectives. Collaborates with HR hospital leaders and operational leadership team to continually assess the effectiveness of recruiting and onboarding tools and processes. Researches best practices in the recruitment and talent onboarding field and incorporates findings into long-term strategic plans and operations.--
--- Better define recruiting and onboarding operations, policies, programs, and procedures. Establishes department's roles, service delivery agreements, and objectives in coherence with the roles and objectives of the enterprise and to ensure best in class candidate experience. Develop protocols and ongoing communication with candidates and all customers both internal and external to create an excellent candidate experience and to elevate the level of customer service.
--- Oversees internal and external recruitment and placement activities and relationship building with businesses, government and community service agencies, colleges, employment agencies, and search firms.
--- Analyzes business unit data and external industry trends to design best-in-class recruitment and onboarding programs/strategy development; consult with senior leaders across the organization and present solutions to improve recruiting effectiveness. Influence and gain commitment on new initiatives to drive greater impact. Identify and report on trends that could impact the organization's objectives.
--- Using data-driven analysis in partnership with the People Analytics team develops and executes strategies to align performance and skills to future business needs and close identified gaps. Concisely deliver data and information to educate key leaders by effectively utilizing data to achieve common goals.
--- Directs compliance issues including adherence, audits, and reporting requirements.
--- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Qualifications
--- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
--- 12+ years of a broad, diverse and progressive talent acquisition experience preferably in healthcare within a large, multi-entity organization is required.--
--- 7+ years of successfully leading, engaging, motivating, and developing high-performing talent acquisition teams.
--- Demonstrated success in leading transformational change in talent acquisition and ability to build effective relationships and influence senior leaders.
--- Experience leading executive recruitment and high volume, demand hiring recruitment required. Experience with CRM preferred.
--- Exceptional analytic skills; ability to use data to share results and influence change in a complex environment.--
--- Strong partnership with business in strategic workforce planning; ability to use market data to create high-level recruitment plans for both current and future state.--
--- Expertise in developing, implementing, and executing creative recruitment strategies and utilizing technology for process efficiencies to achieve talent acquisition delivery excellence.
