Job Description:
What We're Looking For:The Sr. Manager Brand Marketing is a
narrative builder - responsible for driving compelling and
consumer-focused brand strategy and communications for the edX
brand that resonate with target learners and deliver results. The
Sr. Manager Brand Marketing is both a key internal marketing
stakeholder, focused on analyzing consumer insights, crafting
campaigns, and developing guidelines to promote edX across
channels. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Consumer Brand, this
role is accountable for collaborating with internal stakeholders to
develop and execute campaign strategy, audience development, and
driving measurable growth for the edX brand.Responsibilities
Include, But Are Not Limited To:Understand Target Audience
Cultivate and apply a deep understanding of the edX learner's
motivations and decision drivers, combined with external market
forces and the competitor set, to craft, test and iterate effective
messaging across owned and paid channels to drive funnel
movement.Drive collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to
understand and leverage actionable and tactical consumer insights
to inform and improve positioning, differentiation, segmentation,
value props and funnel conversion.To craft, test and iterate

movement.Campaign Strategy and DevelopmentLead, develop and evolve
global brand strategy and associated artifacts (toolkits, briefs,
and messaging frameworks/guidelines) to inform brand activation
throughout the customer journey across branded touchpoints. Partner
with product and design to drive integration of a holistic strategy
Partner with external agencies, to define communication plans,
briefs, message strategy, and frameworks and guide differentiated
storytellingTie campaign strategy and initiatives to key business
priorities Internal Brand Strategy LeadershipTie campaign strategy
and initiatives to key business priorities Create buy-in and
internal alignment through collaborative road maps and stakeholder
engagementCraft compelling creative and tactical briefs to ensure
all cross functional partners have clear understanding of
opportunity, priority and impact.Testing and Measuring SuccessProve
success through testing and learningCollect, analyze and interpret
data points and trends in order to drive campaign strategies.
Evaluation of strategy effectiveness against benchmarks and goals
Reporting results and opportunities to internal and external
stakeholdersThings That Should Be In Your Background:8+ years as a
Marketing Manager, Content Strategist, Brand Strategist or similar
job function, either in educational, agency, brand-side, or
corporate settingBachelor's degree required, MBA or similar a
plusCampaign ManagementOther Attributes That Will Help You In This
Role:Experience managing agency relationships and working with
creative teamsDeep experience in driving marketing strategy from
concept to executionExperience across a variety of digital
marketing tacticsStrong data fluency, with drive to develop a clear
measurement approach for campaign strategy. Solid verbal, written,
and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence
cross-functional teamsMust be highly organized and have great
attention to detailExperience with email automation systems,
Salesforce, Google Analytics and Tableau is a plusAbility to
maintain a fun, casual, professional and productive team
atmosphereAbility to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced
environmentEnthusiasm and the ability to adapt and thrive in an

regular work week between regular work hours. There may be
