organizations interact with third parties is among the most
significant drivers of risk today. Leading a team of empowered and
experienced Cybersecurity Specialists, the Cybersecurity Manager of
Third Party Risk is empowered and accountable to evaluate the
security posture of third party companies, oversee our response to
changes in that security posture, and respond to incidents
impacting those third parties. This manager, operating in close
support of Liberty Mutual's Cybersecurity Operations Center, Global
Compliance & Ethics, Procurement, and CISO drives a consistent view
of the impact of supply chain risk to our security
posture.ResponsibilitiesHires and manages team of people coaches,
counsels and develops team members. Defines individual performance
objectives and development plans and ensures alignment with
organizational objectives. Evaluates team and individual
performance and makes compensation recommendations. Reviews the
design, development, testing and implementation of appropriate IT
security plans, products, firewalls and other access control
techniques. Participates in the establishment of the firm`s
information security policy. Reviews the development, testing and
implementation of appropriate security plans, products and control
techniques. Provides technical expertise and leadership to
partners, IT management and other infrastructure staff in risk
assessments, implementation and operational aspects of appropriate
information security procedures and products. Manages the
reporting, investigation and resolution of data security incidents.
Manages internal audit support mechanisms, reviews findings,
responses and remediation efforts. Maintains contact with industry
security standard setting groups, and an awareness of State and
Federal legislation and regulations pertaining to information
security, and proposes changes in company wide security policies
when necessary. Promotes the development of communications and
supports all related awareness campaigns for information security
awareness among all staff. Responsible for the development and
implementation of security standards, procedures and guidelines to
prevent the unauthorized use, release, modification or destruction
of data across multiple platforms and environments.Prepares
activity, progress and metrics demonstrating progress against
departmental and security goals.Establishes financial plan for the
unit and manages to plan ensures project financial plans are met.
Performs related duties as requested or assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in technical discipline, auditing
or equivalent experience. Financial Audit and/or System and
Organization Controls (SOC) reporting experience
preferred.Generally, 8+ years of professional experience in IT
equivalent areasHighly proficient in security, risk and compliance
concepts, processes and able to design and execute
patternsConsultative skills, including the ability to understand,
communicate, and/or apply requirementsStrong collaboration,
prioritization, and adaptability skills requiredAbility to manage
processes for preservation and handling of digital
evidenceExcellent communication, negotiation, presentation and
consensus building skills requiredKnowledgeable in forensic
investigation and data recoveryAbility to manage the all processes
for preservation and handling of digital evidenceDemonstrated
excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and consensus
