Job Description:
General Scope and SummarySAGE Therapeutics is searching for a
creative, resourceful, integrative thinker for an important role
that is responsible for implementing and maintaining applications
software and systems used to support the Finance function. Under
general direction, this individual plans, implements, and maintains
the operation of applications, develops reports, supports ancillary
software, and maintains system compliance, security, and
performance. -This position will serve as the primary interface
with system users and vendor contacts and will assist with the
operation of Finance systems, specifically Oracle Cloud
Financials.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWork with business to identify
systems requirements by analyzing business requirements,
constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system
capabilities, and writing user requirements and
specifications.Provide project management in the planning, design,
implementation, and support of business applications; insure
interface with existing application, network, and operational
server environments.Act as liaison for outside vendors during
installation, modification, and training of application
software.Manage Oracle Cloud ERP Managed Service Provider Vendor
agreement.Manage Sage's and Oracle MSP's Ticketing applications.
Perform review, resolution, and change control documentation for
change management activities and security access requests.Lead
Oracle Quarterly upgrade activities, including communication to
stakeholders, New Features Impact Analysis, Perform/Consolidate UAT
from Functional users, and appliable Change Controls
processes.Manage Boomi integration processes across the enterprise
and assist in the design and implementation of new
integrations.Identify process improvements and work with business
partners effectively to implement system changes.Monitor and
control the performance and status of corporate business
applications used for accounting and financial operations,
including forecasting and analysis systems.Monitor software
requirements, determine application utilization, and recommend
upgrades/enhancements as needed.Monitor and respond to application
problems using appropriate problem determination tools; track
problem occurrence and resolution; identify, diagnose, and repair
complex problems.Maintain compliance with various regulatory
standards, including Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC, and Dept. of
Labor.Provide leadership and oversight for the IT SOX control
processes and narratives, including review of Oracle SOC1 and SOC2
letters.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending
educational workshops, reviewing professional publications,
establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art
practices, and participating in professional societies.Experience,
Education and Specialized Knowledge and SkillsMust thrive working
in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible,
proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Must have excellent
interpersonal skills, the ability to develop important
relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and
negotiation skills, and the ability to identify issues and raise to
key stakeholders in order to develop relevant and realistic plans,
programs, and recommendations. Must have a demonstrated ability to
translate strategy into action, excellent analytical skills, and an
ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to
orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.Basic
QualificationsBS in Computer Science, Finance, or related technical
field.10+ years of experience in commercial financial applications
support/development environment, including integration
platforms.Preferred Qualifications Understands privacy regulations
including, but not limited to HIPAA and GDPR.7+ years of
implementation and support experience as a Business Analyst on
Oracle Cloud Financial and Oracle PBCS.7+ years of functional
expertise in General Ledger, Payables, Purchasing, Inventory
Costing, Time and Labor, Assets, and Cash Management.Experience
supporting the following Oracle Cloud Applications modules: General
Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, Cash Management, Assets,
Inventory Tracking and Costing, Time and Labor, and HCM
Core.Experience with Oracle Financial Reporting tools, Financial
Reporting Studio (FRS), Oracle Transactional Business
Intelligence(OTBI), BI Publisher, SmartView, Tableau, and Power
BI.Experience with Boomi integration platform, API management,
master data management, and data preparation: SOAP API, REST API,
SFTP, SMTP, LDAP.Demonstrates an understanding of SOX and other
regulatory related system requirements.Experience working in a
biotech/pharma organization.Basic application/web/database
programming is a plus.Experience working with all levels of
management and consulting with key business stakeholders. An
ability to influence for greater outcomes.Strong team player that
has a customer service approach and is solution-oriented.Attention
to detail and the ability to work individually, within a
multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and
vendors.Possesses strong written and verbal communication
