General Brigham Destination Services represents the new systemwide
initiative to provide leading clinical care to patients from around
the country and around the world.This exciting new business
combines a broad existing set of capabilities from the academic
medical centers and specialty hospitals within the Mass General
Brigham system with a significant investment program to take the
business to the next level by developing and enhancing the platform
and driving broad-based growth in the business. Principal Duties
and ResponsibilitiesRelevant activities include, but are not
limited to the following:Project Management/Consulting. Lead
project management activities of high-profile MGB Destination
Services Projects.This may include:Develop detailed project plans
and timelines with clear milestonesObserve and map out workflows in
process diagramsEngage stakeholders and ensure adherence to project
plansFacilitate program implementationDefine and report on key
measures of success Monitor performance tracking progress against
targets and identified goalsDesign and manage databases and
document repositories as requiredProduce agendas and minutes for
meetingsPerform other-related duties as assigned or
requestedReports/Presentations. Complete data analyses and convert
into convincing, persuasive executive level presentations on
internal, environmental and strategic topics.Communication &
Relationship Management. Communicate with clinicians and leaders on
a wide range of healthcare and hospital topics including strategic
planning, finance, IT and clinical operations.Content Matter
Expertise. Gain further content expertise in each project by
conducting market research, performing in-depth interviews and
observations with experts across the system, and utilizing internal
and external benchmarks.All other duties as assignedWorking
ConditionsStandard office conditions, however may periodically
require meetings outside of normal business hoursQualifications
Bachelors degree in business, healthcare or related field
preferred5 or more years of large project management experience3 or
more years' experience in healthcareProject Management
certification preferredSkills/Abilities/Competencies
RequiredAnalytical Ability / Technology Skills:Possesses
intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint.Knowledge of Access and Visio a plus.Maintains high
competencies with spreadsheets and various data manipulation
capabilitiesHas the ability to quickly learn other information
systems used within the institutionDemonstrates the ability to
conduct detailed analysis as well as distill relevant findings for
presentation to high-level audienceHas excellent problem-solving
skills along with excellent attention to detail and
follow-throughInterpersonal/communication: Exceptional
communication, interpersonal, and presentation
abilitiesDemonstrates exceptional customer services skills and the
ability to effectively interact with other departments within Mass
General Brigham and from other outside institutionsAbility to
