impactful ways. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer
& Sr. VP Digital, Mass General Brigham, the Vice President,
Solutions Delivery, Academic Medical Centers (AMCs) will partner
with AMC hospital leadership to provide outstanding service and
support to sites and advance digital transformation. The Vice
President, Solutions Delivery, AMCs will be a key member of the
Solutions Delivery leadership team working collaboratively and
partnering with other enterprise and site leaders to design,
implement and support the future digital strategy such that front
line needs for new digital capabilities are met. The Vice
President, Solutions Delivery, AMCs will manage the service and
support provided to the AMCs, which includes Mass General Hospital
and Brigham and Women's Hospital. - Principal Duties and
Responsibilities
- Provides Digital leadership and support of the Mass General
Brigham AMCs
- Member of the Solutions Delivery leadership team
- Oversees a team of extremely dedicated and talented site
Digital teams
- Working closely with the CIO, Solutions Delivery & AMC
leadership teams, identifies, and executes opportunities for the
AMC site-teams to collaborate more closely together at the site and
Solutions Delivery levels
- Works closely with enterprise Digital infrastructure and
platform teams to provide outstanding support and delivery services
to AMCs
- Understands, informs, and drives future technology architecture
and digital strategy
- Works closely with the CMIO team and operational leaders to
prioritize requests, including enhancements, break/fix, demand,
extensions, and new applications
- Support service lines, enterprise clinical departments and
provide shared services to other sites
- Works closely with CMIO team and other operational leaders to
provide technical options, feasibility, and trade-offs to guide
digital solutions for operational needs.
- Partners closely with Digital platform teams, including the
Clinical, Data and Administrative platforms and Patient Experience
and Virtual Care platforms to ensure that needs of end users are
being met with current and future digital products
- Leads strategic engagements that derive insight and provide
recommendations to the business and program/strategy development to
improve performance
- Plays leadership role in the enterprise architecture program,
helping identify and prioritize opportunities to consolidate
applications and move to enterprise preferred platforms
- Strategic planning to support AMC and Digital needs
- Provides leadership and support for AMC and Solutions
Delivery-wide projects
- Consistently identifies new opportunities to drive digital
programs into the business and drive results.
- Builds strong client relationships, proactively delivers
counsel to customers, develops strategic plans, manages account
budgets, staffing and work quality
- Motivates, coaches, and consistently provides feedback to staff
managed.
- Serves as the main point of escalation with customers of AMC
sites and sets the tone for staff in terms of customer servicing
expectations
- Promotes adherence of designs to policies and standards,
architectural principles, and guidelines
- Validates customers experience and satisfaction measurement
regularly
- Fluent in available program/process management tools,
measurement tools, and methodologies to ensure programs are tied to
performance metrics
- Mentors & develops the talent in line with future strategy
- Oversees MGBD Solutions Delivery, AMC budget and planning
- Participates in MGBD Administrator on Call rotation
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business
Administration, Information Systems, or related field required
- Master of Health Administration or Master of Business
Administration is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of information systems experience required,
with significant experience in a highly complex, academic medical
center, medical school teaching hospital, or integrated health care
delivery system
- Sustained track record of successful information technology
implementation and service delivery in complex healthcare
organizations
- Experience as a Site Chief Information Officer in a highly
complex, matrixed, academic health system
- Highly organized, fluent with designing and managing a
strategic planning model
- Strategic, analytical thinker
- Willingness and successful experience leading change in a large
organization
- Positively collaborates with other employees and departments to
complete objectives
- Proven leadership and team-building skills in both large and
small organizations, with direct responsibility for scaling,
developing, and maintaining high performing teams

- This position requires occasional local travel to MGB sites,
vendors, and/or conferences and Assmebly Row

environment is quiet to moderate.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
