Job Description:
The National Field Director (NFD), Rare Blood Disorders,
Hemophilia will be responsible for developing and implementing
strategies to ensure strong and consistent performance that exceeds
forecast and expectations relating to goals. The NFD will provide
national leadership for the Patient Support Service Field team
members to achieve their goals. Reporting to the Field Lead, Rare
Blood Disorders, the National director will support the Regional
CoRe Directors and the National Therapeutic Education Manager team;
however, will also collaborate cross-functionally with the
directors in other therapeutic areas, senior leadership and other
key functional leaders including Sales, Marketing, Patient
Services, Thought Leader Liaisons, Market Access and Field
Medical.The National Director for Hemophilia will work closely with
Field Lead, Rare Blood Disorders on overall creation of strategy
and execution of the patient support service plan to maximize the
current portfolio performance while developing future business
opportunities. The national director will lead the national field
organization and execute in partnership with patient support
services and cross functional leadership.The National director will
be expected to support revenue growth targets for Rare Blood
products while ensuring the company has the right teams,
structures, and culture of coaching and accountability to maximize
their growth. The NFD will be expected to investigate
underperforming geographies, diagnose performance and behavior gaps
and address with turnaround plans. - Due to the importance of Rare
Blood Disorders within Sanofi, this is a critical and highly
visible role that will provide an excellent platform for the
candidate's rapid future growth.Job Responsibilities:Lead a
high-performance field leadership team of Regional Directors to
achieve business objectives.Develop effective business plans to
execute strategies that are consistent with marketing
plans.Leverage expertise in clinical data, disease education,
product information, selling skills and market trends to drive team
performance.Drive forward projects and initiatives at the national
level to optimize the field team's performance.Recruit, hire,
coordinate training and ensure engagement of RBD and PSS
team.Manage the performance of the team by providing individual
constructive feedback and coaching. -Set clear direction,
communicate, train, guide, inspire and hold accountable team
personnel to maximize team performance. -Provide key market
insights and field feedback to marketing and leadership teams.Help
to define the culture, structure, and future direction of Sanofi's
Rare Blood Disorders team.Demonstrate effective communication and
collaboration with all necessary stakeholders (Sales, Marketing,
Business Operations, Field Reimbursement, PSS, Value & Access,
Medical).Create a compliant environment which challenges, motivates
and develops team members to reach optimum performance and
potential.Lead the development of an engaging culture focused on
ensuring diversity and inclusion is at the forefront of
decisions.Ensure the compliant utilization of CRM tools by team and
hold accountable for effective use.Manage and adhere to all company
policies and Legal and Regulatory guidelines.Educational
Qualifications:BA/BS Degree Required, preferably in life science or
businessMBA or MS degree in business/clinical/science is
preferredExperience/Skill Requirements:10 years of proven industry
leadership experience3+ years of Rare Disease or Rare Bleeding
Disorders leadership experienceSuccessful track record of
performance across customer facing and strategic rolesDemonstrated
ability to operate and thrive in an ambiguous
environmentDemonstrated ability of holding people
accountableEffective Communication and Change Agility
skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively with and influence a
cross-functional, matrix groupStrong business acumen and project
management skillsAbility to travel up to 75% of time throughout the
nation, to home office and meetings/conventions as requiredAs a
