In this role, you'll have a hands-on leadership opportunity
defining and executing all aspects of our new centralized global
FP&A support model. You'll partner with all FP&A members in
our global and US based FP&A teams to make their first year
using Anaplan, a great experience. Our partners will need help with
training, answering technical questions, diagnosing issues, make
real-time system updates, etc. Implementing global, centralized,
driver based, connected, cloud-based planning is key to our future
success. This role is key to making that happen.
The Data Solutions team works closely with senior leadership,
global finance, marketing, distribution & product teams to simplify
and expand the company's ability to understand both where we've
been and where we are going. By designing, building, and
implementing centralized data, planning and reporting solutions we
play a key role in activating data from its silos and augmenting
the value of that data to form a cohesive trusted system
Responsibilities
Reimagine our global Anaplan support model
Act as a primary contributor to innovation that has impact and
creates a high financial and efficiency return within the
organization
Serve as a change agent within the firm's FP&A ecosystem,
driving the transition from legacy infrastructure, skills, and
processes to more current cloud-based solutions
Clearly and concisely present strategic recommendations to business
partners and explain assumptions and methodologies used
Utilize your expertise and insights in Anaplan to identify, drive,
and develop cutting-edge, scalable, best-in-class planning and
forecasting solutions
Build the vision, strategy and roadmaps for governance that ensures
the process is defined, protected, and used responsibly throughout
the organization
Define functional requirements and detailed backlog items for new
product development and key improvement requests and ensure the
product backlog is visible, open, and clear to all
Accelerate time to impact by driving experimentation, prototyping
and iterative product delivery
Enable and facilitate the adoption of appropriate self-service
analytics and dashboards for team members
Serve as a mentor within the team on ways to continuously improve
performance
Qualifications
Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or
related discipline preferred
Master`s in same or related disciplines strongly preferred
5-7+ years experience in coding for data management, data
warehousing, or other data environments, including, but not limited
to, working in NoSQL implementation, ETL, Java, scripting languages
(Python, Perl, Shell), and the Hadoop stack
5-7+ years experience as developer with top quadrant Business
Intelligence tools
Familiarity and experience with Anaplan model creation and
support
Strong written and oral communication skills required
Tenacity to thrive in a dynamic environment, inspire change, and
collaborate with a variety of individuals and organizational
partners
Loves technology but loves helping customers and colleagues
more
Leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication (both
verbally and written)
Strong articulation skills, including the ability to convey
sophisticated and abstract concepts to both technical and business
teams
Proactive & independent, always looking for ways to take initiative
and improve existing programs/processes
Relentlessly focused on delivery and have a deep understanding of
the value of getting MVPs and products out the door so we can test,
learn, and fail fast
