Our role also involves acting as subject matter experts for internal and external product events or partner meetings.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Product Manager-Management & Orchestration/Private Wireless Program on our Telecom Systems Business Product Management team in Hopkinton, Massachusetts or Round Rock Texas, or other locations in the USA.What you'll achieveAs a Product Manager you will define and develop the orchestration capability of Dell's Private Wireless solution and help us capture the market for Private Wireless products. - Dell Technologies intends to be at the forefront of Private Wireless offerings by enabling Enterprises and Service Providers to deploy 5G wireless systems to support new use cases for enterprise customers - from Industrial Automation and IoT to connected health care.You will:

• Own the Management and Orchestration software supporting private wireless products. - These products are products that are Software related that touch hardware in the infrastructure. - (Enterprise level infrastructures supporting Cloud, Edge, and/or Telecom)
• Work to understand what the customer does and what our solution to be built will be supporting or delivering and look for ways to automate it. - In our solutions, there might be a mix of engineering, UX design, product development, and professional services involved to deliver the product. - There may be servers, switches, operating systems involved and then also add in private wireless to the mix and see what is possible to automate for faster and simpler deployment and operations with each release of the product
• Support Dell's go to market organizations in engaging our Telecom and Enterprise customers to learn current and future market demands, document 'user stories and craft winning proposals that create new market opportunities
• Lead/interact with cross functional teams to develop market analysis, business cases, and steer product/solution roadmaps as well as engage with customers in sales support and other collaborative development projects
• Drive the primary business plan and requirements and provide oversight and governance to all key areas of product management for the assigned productsTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements
  • Ability to design and do abstract thinking to gain an exceptional understanding of competitors and their products as well as ability to identify potential partner relationships for the product along with Business Development
  • 7+ years related experience as a Product Manager, Strategic Business Development or Product Strategist within a Telecom Equipment Manufacturer, a Telecom Service Provider or within a technology company that deals with complex technology and multiple stakeholders; must have ability to build business cases and winning roadmaps
  • Deep understanding of private wireless systems, 5G, WiFi and other mobile technologies, the ecosystems that develops them and the buyers of the technology, experience with edge computing architectures and models a plus -
  • Experience leading or working with teams and with cross-functionals groups i.e. sales, engineering, operations and R&D
  • Innovative and have a passion for the technology and a drive to create strategies to delight our customers and win in the marketDesirable Requirements
    • Engineering or Computer Science degree & an MBA is a nice to have
    • Automation and Cloud experience is not specific just to the Telecom domain. - -Telecom is not a must have, it's just that technology of wireless tends to be telecom-based. - Therefore in lieu of our desired Telco experience, we would take someone with automation experience in the CLOUD or EDGE or Enterprise Infrastructure environmentsWho we areWe believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
