About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our Case Management Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, operational efficiencies, and compliance with regulatory policies and standards.The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring that patient care standards are met, and that the department operates efficiently and effectively.As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Establishing and maintaining a patient-focused environment that is culturally sensitive to the diverse needs of patients and staff
• Supporting staff in the evolution of their practice and professional growth and development
• Establishing effective accountability systems to ensure patient care and case management standards are met
• Assessing the effectiveness of patient care through direct observation and supervision of RN Care Managers and support staff
• Collaborating with the Case Management Specialist to ensure the highest level of competent patient care is provided for all patients throughout the course of their hospital stay and along the continuum of careKey qualifications for this role include:
  • RN with current license to practice in Massachusetts
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of directly related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' prior management and leadership experience
