our team and you'll be responsible for growing our Rail
Infrastructure team, winning work and delivering high-profile
transit projects locally in New England and supporting projects
across the US. We'll look to you to administer contracts, make sure
that the team meets client requirements, align with regulatory
agency criteria, and foster a high performance and collaborative
team. You'll provide oversight guidance and direction for the
track, systems and infrastructure project team. We'll have you lead
important business development activity by presenting the
organization's project capabilities, establishing client
relationships, and procuring work.We'll ask you to be responsible
directly or through staff for the quality of services performed,
client satisfaction, utilization of staff, marketing, reputation of
the company in the marketplace, contract management, billing and
collection, and project delivery. You'll help ensure the
coordination of work share with other offices in Jacobs to deliver
projects.We'll provide you professional development by asking you
to:--- Manage railroad engineering and project development
activities.--- Manage projects of all significance, including
developing solutions for difficult problems/tasks of unusual
complexity and scope that require a high degree of innovation and
ingenuity.--- Supervise related support staff.--- Recruit staff to
grow the team.--- Perform all levels of client contact, both
internal and external.--- Ensure overall responsibility for
commercial or public sector projects, including technical,
contractual, budget and schedule activities on medium to large
projects and the development of client interfaces to promote
continuing relations.--- Plan, Assist and direct and coordinate
activities of projects to ensure the goals or objectives of these
projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding
parameters.--- Establish and maintain relationships with
clients.--- Establish and maintain relationships with other
engineering and architectural firms to partner on potential
projects.--- Provide operational supervision and technical guidance
to Project Manager(s) and other project or marketing personnel as
required.--- Maintain contact with senior client management, office
management and managers of applicable departments within Jacobs
engaged transit projects.--- Regularly monitor the progress of
projects or tasks through project management reviews.--- Work with
marketing in preparation of contract proposals.--- Direct and
supervise the activities of assigned personnel and provides for and
enforces proper delegation of management authority, responsibility
and accountability.--- Establishes work plan and multi-disciplinary
staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or
assignment of project personnel.--- Maintains positive
relationships with current and past clients as assigned. Informs
Operations Manager or Sales Manager of potential opportunities to
market Jacobs's services.--- Serves as a representative of Jacobs
at meetings, presentations, and public hearings/reviews relative to
assigned projects.--- Develops reviews and obtains confirmation of
financial and project delivery schedule activities of design and
construction as they relate to all disciplines involved.---
Participate in industry societies, such as AREMA, APTA, IEEE.

their best work.Here's what you'll need---Bachelor Degree in Civil
Engineering---Professional Engineer (PE) License---Substantial
years of experience as a Project Manager or Group Leader with a
focus on rail infrastructure projects---Technical knowledge of rail
design disciplines including, track, facilities, stations, grade
crossings, rail systems and associated railcar
facilities.---Experience with transit and commuter railroad clients
in the Northeast, including MBTA, MassDOT Rail and Transit and
Amtrak. Experience with Light Rail clients is a plus.---Previous
mentorship, technical guidance, and career development
opportunities for staff---Must have developed the following skills;
engineering knowledge, leadership, oral and written communication
skills, planning, teamwork, decision making, judgment and problem

$240,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work
location and additional factors, including job-related skills,
