General Overview

Under direction of the Mass General Brigham Information Systems Senior Manager responsible for the EDDH Interoperability Platform, and working in collaboration with Electronic Data and Digital Health (EDDH) teams, developers, engineers, and vendor resources, the Integration Analyst will independently manage small to medium size projects, support existing integration efforts on the platform, perform detailed analysis and testing, create technical documentation, assist with customer support, and other duties required to support various EDDH data integration initiatives. The EDDH Interoperability Platform is built on the InterSystems HealthShare product, which includes components such as the Unified Care Record (UCR) and many healthcare data integration modes, including web service API's (FHIR, REST and SOAP), event notifications, HL7 v2 interfaces, and other integration modalities as needed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business analysis required for EDDH program technical integration projects. Duties may include:
    • Identify and document business and data requirements related to integration projects, specific API's, or other initiatives
    • Project management of integration projects
    • Detailed integration testing, and test case maintenance
    • Obtain proficiency in Epic Hyperspace, HealthShare, MyChart, and/or other clinical modules for purposes of creating test data and test cases
    • Data field mapping, analysis, documentation, and other analytical data maintenance tasks
    • Draft and publish written functional specifications for developer use and public catalog
    • Provide quality support related to the above initiatives and services as needed
      • Routine support of the Interoperability Platform, and other Epic-based integration support
      • On-call responsibilities 24/7 (1 week intervals, supported by team rotation)
      • Support users and downstream applications including troubleshooting and issue resolution
      • Work with numerous other project teams across many functional areas
      • Other duties as assigned

        • Three or more years of experience supporting software, data integration or healthcare IT is required.
        • Healthcare data integration experience preferred, especially at an academic medical facility or healthcare focused technology company.
        • Working knowledge of FHIR, REST, SOAP, SMART, OAuth2 and HL7 v2 is preferred.
        • Epic certification preferred. Working knowledge of Epic software is a plus.
        • InterSystems HealthShare experience is a plus.

            Working Conditions

            Mass General Brigham Information Systems is currently 100% remote work due to COVID-19 pandemic; work location may change to Somerville, MA post-pandemic.

            The incumbent will have no direct reports.

            The incumbent will have no direct fiscal responsibility.
