high-quality virtual urgent care services for many health
conditions and minor injuries. -Why This Role is ImportantThe role
of the Practice Supervisor, Virtual Urgent Care, is a critical
position for the Mass General Brigham Integrated Care team.
Reporting to Senior Administrative Manager, this position is
responsible for managing all operations for the On-Demand virtual
care service, training and supervising support staff, and helping
to develop and grow this new service.What You'll Work On
- Operations:
- Contributes to a positive work environment and a dynamic,
team-focused work unit that actively helps one another to achieve
optimal department results. Collaborates with all members of the
interprofessional health care team and administrative to provide
optimal patient experience.
- Oversees daily operations and performance of the Virtual Urgent
Care service
- Provides direct supervision of Virtual Urgent Care Patient
Experience Navigators
- Works closely with and collaborates with the appropriate
departments and staff to ensure HIPAA compliance, risk management,
legal and regulatory compliance, and upholds the highest levels of
quality and safety for care teams and patients
- Identifies, monitors and resolves IS issues that impact the
practice's operation
- Evaluate, analyze and report on service metrics and implements
performance improvements for virtual service -
- Collaboration with Sr Project Manager for operationalization of
new systems, processes, business relationship development.
- Administrative:
- Provides human resources management of staff in the hiring,
training, coaching, and talent development of staff to 6+ FTEs
- Provide administrative cross coverage, as a member of the
practice leadership team, to manage staffing and/or center based
operational issues, in a time sensitive manner
- Provide back up support for Patient Experience Navigatiors
- Coordinates, documents, and completes performance evaluations
for staff effectively and on time
- Assists in the career development of practice employees through
ongoing coaching, counseling, and training
- Develops and provides training for staff on the administrative
policies and procedures of the practice and MGBUC
- Coordinates staff training for both the personal and
professional development of staff
- Oversees the management of the center(s) payroll within Kronos,
including the resolution of payroll issues
- Attends regularly scheduled meetings
- Growth/Innovation:
- Generates and communicates new ideas and suggestions that will
improve the quality of service.
- Participate in the development of projects to support service
goals and innovation
- Seeks opportunities to expand learning beyond baseline
competencies with a focus on continual development.
- Tests out new ideas and quality improvement initiatives such as
new processes, workflows, and ways of doing things

- Performs other duties as assigned.
