The Child & Family Counseling Center seeks a School-based Clinician
to work out of the Woburn and Revere area schools. The Child and
Family Counseling Center (CFCC) is a licensed outpatient mental
health clinic. Services are provided at Home for Little Wanderers
offices, in clients' homes, and in other community settings.
Clinicians are also embedded in more than 50 area schools.
Children and families come to CFCC for treatment and prevention
services that are designed to promote healthy social, physical and
emotional development while deepening their connection to their
community. Many of those receive services from CFCC have
experienced toxic stresses.

- Act as a liaison with collateral agencies and
- Establish and maintain relationship services that support
children's and family's growth.
- Act as an advocate for families, teach parents to advocate for
themselves and their children.
- Help families develop the skills needed to navigate the social
- Utilize treatment modalities that are consistent with program
goals and that best fit with clients' age and treatment needs,
including play/expressive therapy, group therapy, and family
- Perform initial assessment and evaluation of new clients and
- Design treatment plans that address and specify outcomes.
- Master's degree in social work, mental health or related
- Clinical experience with children and families
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
