Job SummaryMass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Blood Donor Center, Blood Donor Mobile Units, Apheresis Collections, and Component Processing Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating clinical, educational, and administrative activities, ensuring competent and compassionate care to donors and their families.Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical, educational, and administrative activities to ensure high-quality care to donors and their families.
• Supervise and manage a team of clinical staff, including RNs, apheresis technicians, and component processing technicians.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and AABB standards.
• Manage inventory and supplies, and ensure a safe environment for donors and staff.
• Collaborate with the Medical Director and Administrative Director to identify current and future departmental needs and develop plans to address them.
• Provide performance-based feedback to staff members and initiate disciplinary action as needed.
• Participate in budget preparation and monitoring, and order and evaluate equipment and supplies.Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in blood donor collection.
