beds Number of Staff Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 charge, 8-10 RN
s, 1-3 LNA s, and sitter PRN o Night Shift - 1 charge, 8-10 RN s,
1-3 LNA s, and sitter PRN Patient Ratios variable biased on acuity
(ECMO 2:1, post open heart surgery 1:1, Critical ICU/ devices pt
1:1, typical ICU assignment 1:2, stepdown assigned 1:3-4) Type of
equipment IV pumps, Telemetry monitors, hoyer/ stand lifts,
Impella, IABP, CRRT(nxstage), bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid
transfuser, Blanketrol (for warming and cooling pts), chest tubes,
vein finder, Sorin retransfuser post cardiac surgery, ventilator,
high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/ CPAP EMR Sunrise Patient Population
mixed medical and surgical ICU Typical hiring profile Skill Set
Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will
not be considered for the role. Telemetry Ideally PCU or greater
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be
considered first. Experience with critical drips, vents, etc. Prior
ICU experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Pericardialcentesis with drains left in place post-precedure
Thoracentesis Central line insertion Arterial line insertion Chest
tube insertion Intubation TEE cardioversion, TTE Transvenous pacing
