Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
experienced Lead Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team of
healthcare professionals. Based in Encompass Healths diverse care
settings, which include inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home
health agencies, the Lead Dietitian will oversee dietary services
and ensure the nutritional care of patients according to the latest
clinical guidelines. The ideal candidate will bring a systematic
approach to developing dietary interventions tailored to individual
patient needs, aimed at maximizing recovery and enhancing the
quality of life. Develop and implement dietary care plans based on
patient assessments and latest clinical guidelines. Lead, train and
supervise the dietetic staff across various settings. Collaborate
with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to integrate dietary
interventions with overall patient care plans. Evaluate and
document patient progress, adjusting dietary plans as needed.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations regarding food and
nutrition services. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field
of dietetics and nutrition to enhance patient care. Manage
departmental budget and resources effectively. Proven ability in
dietary assessment and plan development Strong leadership and team
management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Highly
organized with attention to detail Expertise in nutritional
software and patient care technologies Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
(RDN) - required Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) -
preferred Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition (CSR) or
Pediatric Nutrition (CSP) - beneficial
