Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a skilled Lead Dietitian to join our team.
This role is pivotal in delivering tailored nutritional care to
patients across our inpatient rehabilitation and home health
settings. The Lead Dietitian will oversee the dietetic team and
ensure that dietary services are designed to meet the individual
needs and medical requirements of each patient, enhancing their
recovery and overall health. This position requires a blend of
clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep commitment to
patient-centered care. Assess patient needs and develop dietary
care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Lead and manage a team of dietitians and nutrition assistants,
ensuring high standards of dietary care. Train staff on the latest
in clinical nutrition and dietary management. Monitor patient
progress and adjust dietary plans as needed. Participate in
research and implement evidence-based practices in nutritional
care. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all
dietary services. Collaborate with other medical staff to integrate
dietary strategies with overall patient care. Expert knowledge of
clinical dietetics and nutrition management. Strong leadership and
team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
Proficiency in dietary software and patient management systems.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent. Licensed Dietitian (LD)
where applicable.
