Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Montpelier, Vermont. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 20 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel ICU Nurse - Contract Position/n/n Location/n Berlin, VT /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour night shifts, with potential rotation to day shifts as needed by unit. /n/nJob Description/n The ICU Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality and compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 14-bed ICU unit. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and the ability to manage complex patient needs effectively. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide care for patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, alcohol withdrawal, and more. /n - Utilize advanced monitoring equipment and perform necessary interventions such as medication titration and airway management. /n - Respond to rapid response and code blue situations as part of the ICU team. /n - Manage ventilators and collaborate with respiratory therapy for optimal patient outcomes. /n - Assist with cardioversion, intubation/extubation, and central line management. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - A minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience. /n - Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS required prior to start). /n - Experience with EPIC documentation system within the past 2 years is mandatory. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
