Experience the unique blend of culture and coastal beauty that Salem offers while advancing your nursing career in a supportive environment./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Location: Salem, MA (01970) — travel nursing job in Massachusetts/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,810 - $2,960/week/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Shift: 12-hour shifts; Nights primary with Days/Eves/Nights rotation, every other weekend & holiday/n - Employment Type: Travel & Contract (Travel RN/Registered Nurse)/n - Setting: Nursing Administration Supervisors / Med-Surg Telemetry/n /n/nRequired Qualifications/n /n - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required/n - Current Massachusetts RN license (compact candidates must hold MA RN)/n - Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications/n - Minimum 3 years of advanced Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience/n - Experience reading cardiac telemetry strips and titrating cardiac drips/n - Proven experience in nursing leadership, charge nurse or supervisory roles/n - Proficient with EPIC EMR / electronic medical record systems/n - Effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teams/n /n/nPreferred Qualifications/n /n - Critical care nursing experience (ICU/CCU) preferred/n - Previous nursing administration or nurse manager support experience/n - Experience working in high-acuity community hospitals/n /n/nKey Responsibilities/n /n - Provide clinical, operational, and administrative supervision for all facility services during assigned shifts as the Registered Nurse Supervisor / Travel RN/n - Serve as clinical resource and point-of-contact for patient care, nursing staff, and ancillary services/n - Act as patient care representative—address patient and family concerns and escalate when necessary/n - Collaborate with medical staff, ancillary support, and clinical services to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Supervise patient care delivery, verify adherence to established nursing practices, and uphold patient care standards/n - Recognize and ensure appropriate interventions for patient deterioration, disruptive behavior, or equipment malfunctions/n - Conduct rounds across patient care areas with emphasis on high-acuity and telemetry patients/n - Coordinate clinical patient care and environmental needs with support services and leadership/n - Notify Administrator-On-Call for serious incidents, patient safety events, or facility emergencies/n /n/n /n This travel nursing position is ideal for a motivated RN with strong Med/Surg Telemetry skills and a passion for nursing leadership.
