Job Description:
PowerBack Rehabilitation is actively seeking a dedicated
Occupational Therapist for our In Home Outpatient services focused
on providing superior post-hospital rehabilitation. This role is
pivotal to assist patients in their recovery after surgery, injury,
or illness right from their homes. The ideal candidate will apply
personalized and intensive therapy techniques to enhance patient
independence and facilitate the return to daily activities.
Evaluate patient conditions and establish treatment plans based on
medical history and recovery goals. Implement treatment plans
utilizing therapeutic techniques suitable for in-home settings,
ensuring patient comfort and progress. Regularly assess and record
patient recovery, modifying treatment plans as needed. Educate
patients and families on therapy exercises and daily activity
adjustments to aid in recovery. Maintain clear documentation of
treatment and progress in patient files. Coordinate with other
healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Expertise in
developing and administering occupational therapy treatments.
Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective patient and
family engagement. Ability to adapt treatment methods to various
home environments. Deep understanding of patient documentation and
privacy regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Valid occupational therapist license. Preferably
certified in CPR.
