Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery / OB experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, NRP certifications required Must-Have: - Proficient experience from patient check-in to pre/post care to discharge - Fetal Monitoring experience required - Previous travel experience highly preferred - Permanent address must be included in submission Description: Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems and needs. Establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. The unit can manage high-risk pregnancy management, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC, prenatal testing, and amniocentesis. Childbirth education classes may also be part of the responsibilities.
