Description:The Row at Assembly Row Autograph Collection, a
Colwen Hotels property, is seeking a Senior Catering Sales Manager
that will be responsible for growing new and existing business
through direct sales, marketing and cold calls, and maximizing
revenue and profits. In this role, you will collaborate with the
sales and revenue teams, developing strategies that maximize
profitability and guest satisfaction.Colwen Hotels is a hospitality

advancement growth and opportunities.General Responsibilities:Grow
existing accounts and generate new business to exceed budget and
maximize revenue and profitsMaintain existing account
relationshipsFormulate sales and marketing strategies for assigned
hotelCollaborate with sales team, revenue management, and Hotel
General Managers to maximize profitability of properties while
maintain guest satisfactionWork closely with the sales teams and
Hotel General Managers at assigned hotels to assist in capturing
catering business in all segments including corporate transient
businessAssist Director of Sales with ForecastingAssist in the
training and support of all sales associates and ensure performance
in accordance with established hotel brand/Colwen sales
standardsHave general knowledge of Colwen banquet food service
standards and techniquesEnsure knowledge of and adherence to
standards by the banquet team to achieve optimal sales service and
client retentionDevelop and maintain market awareness to ensure
ability to forecast revenue opportunities and create proactive
strategiesEstablish individual sales plans and goals for corporate
and social catering eventsMonitor and analyze product of top
accounts and evaluate trends in market.Independently solicit and
book businessNegotiate food and beverage pricing, meeting room
rental, and other servicesWork directly with clients and event
planners to gather necessary information for menu planning, floor
plans, room set-up, timeliness, rental orders, d--cor, cost, and
billing details and any other requirements pertinent to their event
in a timely manner and assist with those items as necessary.Compile
sales reports as required in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain
accurate and up to date records of all
activity/transactionsSupervise the execution of banquet events and
monitor service provided by banquet staffParticipate in local
networking organizations, community, and industry events while
representing Colwen Hotels in a professional mannerMaintain
