Human Resources Generalist

Our client, a well-established firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their Human Resources team. The Human Resources Generalist will perform in a variety of duties, from assisting with the hiring process and employee performance reviews to managing payroll and benefits.



Ideal candidates will be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and have a self-starter attitude with at least one year of experience in Human Resources. This role is a permanent position with great benefits, is 100% onsite, and starts immediately!

Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties
Create and maintain both digital and hard copy company personnel files
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
Coordinate Human Resources projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.)
Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
Assist recruiters with sourcing candidates and updating the database



Qualifications:

At least one year of human resource management experience is a must
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to properly prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines and delegate them when appropriate
Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
1-2 years of benefits administration and/or recruitment experience is a huge plus!
SHRM-CP is a plus!
