Job TitleContent DeveloperJob DescriptionEffective--Tuesday,--January 4, 2022, all U.S.-based employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID as a condition of employment at Philips*.--- Employees may request a reasonable accommodation.If you are a Colorado resident and this role is a field-based or remote role, you may be eligible to receive additional information about the compensation and benefits for this role, which we will provide upon request.-----You may contact--888-367-7223, option 5, for assistance.*Montana employees are currently excluded from this requirement at this time.We welcome you to join Philips Ultrasound business as a Content Developer in our Bothell, Washington or Cambridge, Massachusetts location.In this role, you have the opportunity to make life betterAs the Content Developer, you are responsible for developing learning content that provides exceptional learning experiences while meeting instructional objectives via optimized delivery options.You will work cooperatively with the Instructional Designer, Delivery Specialists, and subject matter experts to generate ideas for creating engaging learning activities and translate clinical, technical and sales concepts into effective training content.The focus of your work will be on Ultrasound product and clinical applications for a primary target audience of Ultrasound account managers, clinical field-facing team members and external customers.As part of the Global Education Services team, you will support the Instructional Designer and Learning Managers in creating clinical, technical, sales and customer-facing content.-- You will extend these materials to various team and field facing support platforms:-- internal SharePoint, Resource Site maintenance, Teams and Yammer communities.You will draw upon your experience effectively integrating multi-media in learning programsto create outputs that reflect an understanding of current trends in adult learning, training best practices, diversity among adult learners, and the specific needs of each event or program's objectives and target audience.This position supports the roll-out of global training in a dynamic, fast-paced environment including maintenance of social learning sites.You are responsible for (but not limited to)Customer ExperienceEnsure Philips Healthcare customers and employees receive consistent, streamlined learning services by using common company style, standards and development tools.Instructional Design & Content DevelopmentApply instructional strategies design/learning theory in executing the development of training (tutorials, eLearning modules, user guides, job aids, facilitator guides, audio and video scripts, advanced simulations, storyboards, navigational text, tests, etc.) that transforms unformatted technical information into professionally written, engaging instruction, activities, and materials that optimize adult learning and assessment.Support the Instructional Designer by considering course learning objectives, along with audience environment and available resources, and recommend appropriate learning solutions. --Adapt instructional content or delivery methods to accommodate different levels or types of learners for effective results-based and performance-based training.Upload and test learning activities for content, functionality, and availability.Manage content upload to the various Education Services and Category Yammer/Teams and SharePoint SitesProject ManagementDrive project progress and track toward on-time delivery.Mitigate risks and report project delays timely, escalating to leadership as needed.Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of best practices and continuous improvement throughout the training environment, i.e., processes, tools and templates.You are part ofA dynamic team of training professionals supporting internal and customer education for the Ultrasound business.
