Delivery Platform Engineering team is hiring a team first Platform
Engineer to help us modernize our Software Delivery capabilities.
You'll work with a talented team of engineers to leverage your
skills in Linux, AWS, and Python to upgrade, migrate, and modernize
core platform components Liberty Mutual developers rely on every
day to deliver innovative new products. We encourage you to apply

got:
- One to two years of software engineering experience
- Experience working in an agile environment utilizing Scrum,
Kanban or XP
- Proficiency using AWS services and tools
- Good knowledge of Docker and Containerization
- Familiarity with automation software, such as Jenkins, Puppet,
Chef, Ansible, or similar
- Experience with version control systemsKnowledgeA thorough
grasp of technology concepts, business operations, design and
development tools, system architecture and technical standards
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Design, manage, improve, and monitor all installed systems and
infrastructure
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems,
application software, and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and
infrastructure availability
- Monitor and test application performance for potential
bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers
to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system
efficiency, optimize deliverability and lower the need for manual
intervention
- Create and maintain documentation and detailed sets of
instructions on infrastructure and softwareEducation
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or
