DescriptionOur team is on a mission to build leading-edge capabilities for document solutions so our many business partners can act quickly on policies and claims. We use a wide variety of skills and tools, including industry-leading platforms such as major cloud providers and content engines. With an intake volume of 40M documents annually, the system must be highly scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective. Our engineers work with a technology stack consisting of the .NET stack, web frameworks (Angular and React), OpenText Captiva/Intelligent Capture, and MS SQL Server. We will extend to include CI/CD pipelines as we migrate to the Azure Public Cloud in 2022. We are looking for an experienced engineer to join us in building our capture workflows and migrate the tech stack to Azure. This position would join a talented and friendly Agile squad operating in a dynamic business environment. Our stakeholders consist of many lines of business and are corporate-wide as we aspire for a global reach. As a team, we cultivate a culture where every perspective is respected. Responsibilities

  • Work with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and peer engineers to iteratively create solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze technical system problems, and design and implement effective re-usable solutions
  • Handle end-to-end development, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment during each cycleDesign and develop end-to-end Document Capture solutions
  • Collaborates with business SMEs to define capture flows, data models, and business rules
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture, design, & testing artifacts
  • Develop automated tests for multiple scopes (Unit, System, Integration, Regression)
  • Develop responsive web apps using ASP.NET MVC, Angular & React frameworks
  • Develop web services using ASP.NET WebAPI framework.
  • Develop C# .NET scripts, libraries & Windows services
  • Develop MS SQL database design & code (stored procedures, tables, indexes, constraints)
  • Learn other Document Capture related technologiesIdentify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
  • Mentor new and junior developersAdvanced skills in .NET (.NET Framework and .NET Core) and Azure, C#.NET, JavaScript, Typescript, and PowerShell.Experience working within the Agile methodologyExperience with Azure Cloud technologies, services, and related patterns. Experience creating build and deploy CI/CD pipelines for Azure Cloud deployment.
  • Experience with web app and services development using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET WebAPI, HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript, Angular and React web frameworks.
  • Experience developing efficient queries to perform CRUD operations on large amounts of data stored in Microsoft SQL Server, working with JSON data, writing complex queries and stored procs.
  • Experience writing automated unit testing for front-end and middle-tier components using NUnit, Jasmine, etc.In-depth knowledge and application of diverse and emerging technologies, architectural concepts, and principles.Experience with LDAP, OAuth2/OIDC. Awareness of policies regarding security and privacy. Experience with OpenText Captiva/Intelligent Capture vendor product is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication and collaboration skills.
