Gemini reveal the underlying circuitry of diseases to provide insights and evidence -to -support enhanced drug discovery, clinical trials, real world evidence and market access strategies Backed by decades of research, validated results and clinical expertise, our solutions are used by many of the world's leading biopharmaceutical companies. -Position Summary -We're looking for a motivated and experienced Systems Administrator---to help our rapidly growing team optimize cloud-based software and infrastructure.------This role will ensure the timely, efficient, secure implementation of enterprise infrastructure solutions to help power GNS's products and services, while working with our stakeholders.---This position presents a tremendous opportunity to push the cloud to the limit for an individual capable of working in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and challenging environment.------We are seeking a problem solver who has the ability and willingness to continually learn and update their skills as well as the ability to establish themselves as a critical player within a team. -Reporting to the Senior Manager, HPC/Cloud, the -Systems Administrator---is responsible for supporting operations and scoping, planning, designing, delivering, and maintaining systems in a security-critical environment based on needs and requirements -for our fast-paced healthcare analytics -work.---The -Systems Administrator -will have expertise with -Linux and Windows server and Software-As-A-Service -implementation and maintenance -as well as -auditing and monitoring -with a focus on performance optimization and security.---Linux fluency is a must, along with -operations experience on -AWS,Azure---or other public cloud -environments. - -The applicant will need strong written and verbal communications skills -forcollaboration -between -our Information Technology, Software Engineering, and Product Teams, -as well as -interfacing with vendors.------Adaptability, attention to detail, -and completeness of work (documentation) is required.--- -Responsibilities -

  • Design and implement IT---solutions to support GNS's needs -
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, OSs, software applications, and other computing systems -
  • Proactively resolve open issues with scientists or other team members as needed -
    • Proactively communicate risks, obstacles, and deficiencies in plans to the IT team -
    • Set up system-wide software -
    • Update systems upon release of new software -
    • Implement computer, network and security policies for system and network users -
    • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery efforts -
      • Implement script-based solutions as needed -
      • Support the rest of the IT team as needed -Requirements:BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science,---or a related discipline (preferred) and 5 - 10 years of relevant experience -Experience with: -
        • Experience working in an Agile development team (preferred)---
        • Linux fluency---
        • Cloud experience
        • Cluster/HPC experience (preferred)
        • Open-source enterprise software
        • IT automation software (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
        • Privacy and security
        • Planning IT implementations
        • Networking and enterprise firewalls
        • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise infrastructures
