If you are someone who has automated evaluation for video or machine learning systems and is also comfortable learning and inventing new test technologies - come join our team!ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of an automation framework for online and offline evaluation of video systemsHelp defining proper performance metricsEnsure that video solutions produce the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance industryContinually improve the quality of our software and hardware products through the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports.Mentor personnel to grow their career and develop new skillsDrive productivity and efficiency via automation and metricsDevelop processes and metrics to ensure the team is operating efficiently and productivelyQualifications5+ years of work experience in System Test, Functional Test and Test Automation3+ years of object-oriented Python programmingBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experienceUnderstanding of statistical test methodologiesExperience developing test harnesses for unit testing and regression testingA team player with creative and innovative approaches to solving challengesExcellent written and oral communications skillsComfortable "owning" and maintaining large code infrastructure and codebaseProven history of test-to-break mentalityPreference will be given to candidates with any of the following skills and experienceExperience with automated evaluation of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or Computer Vision ApplicationsExperience with C++ and GTESTFamiliarity with database designExperience with surveillance and security productsIn-depth understanding of cameras, networking, and the Linux OSWorking experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks e.g., Bamboo or JenkinsExpert knowledge in Docker containerization and related infrastructureFamiliarity with running security vulnerability scanning tools, e.g., Fortify, WhiteSourceMaster's Degree in an engineering discipline#LI-CABasic RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent experience2+ years of object-oriented Python programmingVaccine RequirementMotorola Solutions has implemented a voluntary COVID-19 vaccination policy.
