The Senior Software Architect for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is
responsible to architect, build and deploy software platforms on
our next generation on-prem and Cloud based products. Incumbent
will develop and demonstrate\communicate software solutions and
architectures by studying information needs; conferring with users;
studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes;
investigating problem areas; following the software development
lifecycle and Design Controls. He or She will develop quick
prototypes to demonstrate the architectural concepts and product
ideas to team, management, product management, customers etc.
Furthermore, the candidate will work with SME's, Architects,
product managers and mentor the software developers.
This position is part of the Integrated Software Platform team
located in Chaska, Minnesota and can be hybrid in Minnesota or
fully remote in the eastern or central time zone states. At Beckman

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Design, Architect and Deliver Products.
Work in iterative product release environment, with focus on
quality and delivery goals
Collaboration with cross functional teams Product Management,
Service, Software Architects and Systems to understand the product
needs and translate into solution architecture.
Understand complex system issues and drive root cause in a global
environment.
Explain and articulate problems and drive solutions with
offshore\remote teams and deploy it in the system, provide demos
and drive to closure.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in Information technology / Computer Science /
Software Engineering or a related field + 12 years of experience in
overall software development and architecture experience or Masters
+ 10 years of experience.
Solid hands-on experience architecting, building and delivering
distributed systems.
Hands on experience on the following: Programing: C# (.NET Core,
ASP.NET Core), Python, HCJ; Interposes Communication: REST & gRPC;
Messaging: Rabbit MQ or equivalent messaging frameworks;
Persistence: SQL and No SQL DBs; Microservice Architectures;
Containers: Docker; Observability: Open Telemetry and Open Logging;
CI\CD: Azure DevOPs or equivalent; IOT : Azure IOT or
equivalent.
Hybrid deployment of Cloud/On Premise distributed systems (Azure
\AWS)
Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - 180,000 per year. This
is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible
compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may
ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may
be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
