Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.We are seeking a motivated Senior Software Section Leader to join the Patriot Software Team within the Air and Missile Defense Software Department.As a Section Leader, you will be responsible for the oversight of software personnel to meet program needs.The ideal candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable technical background, who is able to thrive in a dynamic agile environment and is able to work well in a team setting.What You Will Do Ensure that each employee has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and advancement Contribute to the technical oversight of employees in support of their daily work assignments Performance development and appraisal Salary and staffing planning Ensuring the adherence to company policies and the communication of company and program information Responsible for supporting a major program task within the Patriot domain This position requires exclusive onsite presence.Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in functional management, leading a medium to large size team Lead and / or project management experience The ability to obtain and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance prior to the start date.
