Takeda as a Lead Counsel, Global Data Digital & Technology,
Product, at the senior directo r level. You will contribute to
Takeda’s growth and success as a digital biopharmaceutical company
by acting as a strategic, proactive legal advisor and senior
business partner to Global Data, Digital & Technology (GDD&T)
function and related enterprise partners. Additionally, the Lead
Counsel will provide strategic legal support and business
partnership, as guided by GDDT Legal team leadership, for the
deployment of new and existing technology at Takeda. As part of the
Global General Counsel team, you will report to Head Counsel,
Global Data, Digital & Technology. How you will contribute:
Building a trusted advisor relationship with senior managers and
leaders within the Global Data Digital & Technology Function
supporting its goals and objectives, including delivery of
enterprise digital products Advise on AI matters, including
internal governance, risk assessments and regulatory review,
relating to AI development and deployment within the enterprise.
Provide product counselling for Commercial and Medical technology
applications and collaborate with other Legal partners to advise on
IP, software, licensing and other product related legal matters.
Support global digital health applications with advice on issues
such as regulatory, data transfers, data sharing, pricing, etc.
Advising on relevant laws and regulations, keeping up to date on
prospective changes and industry technology trends educating
relevant stakeholders on such trends and ensuring business is
prepared to respond Project management and the furtherance of
process improvement in legal support to GDDT Support GDDT on the
legal aspects of its Governance, Risk and Compliance program.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from
an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one
jurisdiction At least 8 years of relevant technology law experience
in a law firm and/or in-house legal department in a technology or
healthcare company Strong understanding of technology and its legal
and ethical implications, knowledge of industry standards and best
practices Knowledge and understanding of AI related legal and
governance requirements. Experience in thinking critically about
the integration of AI into work processes. Experience in digital
health/digital health product counseling or commercial technology
products, including regulatory oversight and the interaction
between privacy, data protection and technology Understanding of
compliance with data protection regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and
other relevant laws. Self-motivated, proactive, and ability to work
collaboratively with cross-functional teams to solve problems,
drive decisions and exercise good judgement Superior written and
verbal communication skills to convey complex legal & business
concepts to business stakeholders Ability to influence others
without direct authority on novel matters related to our industry.
Experience in leading, managing and inspiring virtual teams or

Base Salary Range: $208,200.00 - $327,140.00 The estimated salary
range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual
base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including
the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position,
years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of
education attained, certifications or other professional licenses
held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from
which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary
offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage
requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be
eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based
employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision
