In this role, you will handle the critical function of accurately selecting and preparing orders for customer pick-up, ensuring they meet the high standards of quality and accuracy Performance Foodservice is known for. As an order selector, you will work in a dynamic warehouse environment where your efforts contribute directly to our company's reputation for service excellence. Selecting and packing products from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders accurately. Inspecting order items to ensure quality and completeness. Maintaining inventory accuracy and manage stock location. Operating warehouse equipment safely, such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Coordinating with the warehouse team to optimize order preparation and loading efficiency. Ability to operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking. Physical endurance to lift products and stand for extended periods. Basic mathematical skills for inventory and order management. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Medical Insurance 401k Forklift certification is highly preferred.
