If you have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic and great attention to detail, a Quality Control Operator position with CHEP could be a great fit! Pallet Inspection & Quality Control Lifts pallets for inspection to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Inspect pallets for defects, damages, and inconsistencies in materials or assembly. Utilize tools and equipment to correct minor issues and verify dimensions, weight, and other quality parameters of pallets. Identify and document any deviations from quality standards. Communicates inspections results and quality issues with production teams and supervisors. Adheres to PCP standards and guidelines. Partners with Quality Lead to ensure plant compliance of quality practices and continuous and improvement initiatives. Provide support during audits and inspections. Safety and Compliance: · Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily. Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately. Proficiency in using tools and equipment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to complete task within a timely manner with high attention to detail. Ability to understand and communicate information is essential. Experience Previous experience working in an industrial, fast paced environment with industrial equipment. Previous application of quality control principles, techniques, and methodologies. Skills and Knowledge Communication skills Tool Handling skills Observation skills Attention to Detail Critical Thinking/Problem Solving Time Management Ability to work flexible in an ever-changing environment. Willingness to Learn Hand-eye coordination Physical Requirements Lift and carry 77 lbs at least 33% of their work shift. Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet. Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet. Working Conditions The role involves working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Work requires standing for long periods of time. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures may occur. Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
