Supervisor Job Description Oversee production activities to
maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety,
health, and environmental requirements. Serve as the designated
safety lead during emergencies and ensure site safety protocols are
followed. Assign tasks, train, and mentor team members to achieve
production targets and maintain high standards of quality and
safety. Partner with maintenance and quality teams to resolve
equipment or process issues promptly. Drive troubleshooting efforts
and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational
performance. Monitor production schedules, analyze performance
metrics, and address variances effectively. Support investigations
and documentation for deviations, change control, and
corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Manage shift planning,
including scheduling, overtime coordination, and coverage. Foster a
culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational
excellence throughout the team. Responsibilities Oversee production

and uphold quality and safety standards. Collaborate with
maintenance and quality teams to promptly resolve equipment or
process issues. Drive troubleshooting efforts and implement
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational
performance. Monitor production schedules, analyze performance
metrics, and effectively address variances. Support investigations
and documentation related to deviations, change control, and CAPA.
Manage shift planning, including scheduling, coordinating overtime,
and ensuring coverage. Foster a culture of collaboration,
accountability, and operational excellence within the team.
Essential Skills Experience as a Chemist Operator or Chemical
Operator. Proficiency in Analytical Chemistry and Batching
processes. 3-5 years of production supervision experience,
preferably in a regulated environment such as chemical, pharma, or
food industries. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's
degree in Sciences or related field. Work Environment The role is
based in a clean laboratory and production environment. Working
hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., following a 2-2-3 shift
schedule, which includes working every other weekend. Job Type &
Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton,
WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 -
$40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
