Rubius Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a new class of medicines called Red Cell Therapeutics. Our proprietary RED PLATFORM was designed to genetically engineer and culture Red Cell Therapeutics that are selective, potent and off-the-shelf allogeneic cellular therapies for the potential treatment of several diseases across multiple therapeutic areas. Our therapies can potentially be used to kill tumors in cancer and to regulate the immune system for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. We are currently enrolling patients in a Phase 1/2 clinical trial of RTX-240 in patients with relapsed/refractory or locally advanced solid tumors. This is a highly visible opportunity, reporting into the Vice President, and will be responsible responsible for delivering cross-functional project management excellence to programs across the drug development lifecycle (Research, Pre-clinical and Clinical Development, Registration and Commercialization). This individual is expected to apply project management best practices to solve complex problems and facilitate the execution of integrated project plans for cross-functional drug development teams and portfolio operations initiatives.ResponsibilitiesOversee integrated project planning processes for one or more teams including timelines, risk management, communication plans and project reportingProvide active meeting management by publishing agendas, assembling pre-reads, capturing minutes, and tracking action itemsOrganize completion of project team deliverables and contribute to content development, as appropriateIndependently facilitate cross-functional team discussions and drive the team toward decisionsWith support, partner with team lead(s) to set strategy, goals and milestonesWith support, determine approach and relevant stakeholders for cross-functional decision-making and issue resolutionQualifications& EducationLeadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a small pharmaceutical or biotechnology environmentDemonstrated understanding of project management principles, best practices, tools, technology and methodsIn-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical drug discovery and development across one or more disciplinesMinimum 3 years of experience managing pharmaceutical discovery and development programsBachelor's degree, with preference for Life Sciences6 years of professional experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experienceExcellent written and oral communication skills across multiple platforms including PowerPoint, Teams & SharePointExperience managing project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar softwareStrong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross functional teams and stakeholderEEO Statement: Rubius Therapeutics is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
