To request reasonable accommodation, please contact hr@.ResponsibilitiesThe Security Coordinator assists with all personnel security actions to include security clearance processing, badge operations and background investigations. Additionally, Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Security Information Management System (SIMS) database maintenance where accuracy and attention to detail is required. Daily functions include badging, security briefing execution, processing incoming and outgoing classified visits and other related items. Assists with highly visible Visitor Service Center administration. Performs clerical administrative work for Draper Security. Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be service oriented with the ability to work under pressure, be a self-starter and work well with all levels of management and staff. Must meet requirements and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance. A minimum of 2-4 years of directly related experience.Essential Functions:Assist with the day-to-day operations of Draper's Personnel Security function for employees, nonemployees and consultants to include security clearance processing, security briefings, badging actions and other related tasks.Assist with processing clearance request for all Draper employees, to include, initial investigations, periodic re-investigations and upgrades. Assist, collect and review personal documents to establish identity and employment verification. Fingerprints applicants utilizing an electronic fingerprint machine. Coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual audits of DISS, SIMS and electronic personnel files to ensure accuracy.Assist with replacement badge requests and provide assistance to all Draper employees/contractors.Support the new hire and termination processes to include security briefings, badging and data entry.Support other areas within the Industrial Security functional area, as needed.Maintain and assist with the execution and tracking of security briefings to include, but not limited to, CNWDI/NATO.Responds promptly, courteously and professionally to Draper personnel and subcontractor requests/inquiries.Assist with creating, documenting and implementing Standard Operating Procedures for all Draper's Personnel Security plete and perform incoming and outgoing classified visits while ensuring accuracy.Ensure day-to-day accuracy to database systems by ensuring proper tracking and data entry.Assist with the operations and coverage of the Visitor Services Center.Assist with security aspects of the MIT Professional Summer Program.Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism.Adjust tasks efficiently and effectively with changing environment.Review audits, assist with documenting any findings and provides detailed results to Security management in a timely terface with all levels of personnel, management and Government sponsors to ensure proper controls are in place, and demonstrates the ability to adjust policies, standards, requirements as may be necessary.Remain current on all DoD policies and procedures by successfully completing online courses and other training sessions. Assist with reviewing current processes to enable the operation to modernize and utilize technological efficiencies.Working knowledge of business software such as Excel, SIMS, PowerPoint and Word is required.QualificationsA minimum of 2-4 years of directly related experience.Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, service oriented with the ability to work under pressure, be a self-starter and work well with all levels of management and staff.Security clearance required.
