T-DH HR Administrative Assistant Salary: DOE1 year of relevant experience requiredA top Massachusetts hospital is seeking a T-DH HR Administrative Assistant to work in its busy Human Resources department. Apply if you are tech-savvy, are able to handle word processing and spreadsheet applications, have strong mathematics and customer service skills.ResponsibilitiesHR Administrative Assistant will work closely with and take direction from other members of the department including the Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR CoordinatorAnswer the telephone, take and relay messages and answer inquiries from internal and external customers of the department in a manner that is consistent with professional customer service practiceResponsible for filing new hires and other employee-related paperwork on a routine basis maintaining the confidentiality of all of the information to which the employee is exposedProvides support to the recruitment process by performing activities such as sending job applications to hiring managers, contacting job applicants to schedule interviews, helping with the preparation of new hire paperwork, and scheduling new hires for employee health appointments; may occasionally be asked to screen applicants using standard questions and guidelinesAssist with the administration of New Employee Orientation including preparing participant materials, and distributing and filing completed Orientation paperworkUse Excel to keep track of paperwork of staff submitted by staff participating in the hospitals online Orientation programWork with the HR Coordinator to perform audits of employee dataSchedule and help to plan meetingsMay be required to perform similar or related duties as may be necessary on an emergency basis or as designated by the Vice President of Human ResourcesRequirementsHigh School Diploma/GEDSufficient previous experience to demonstrate understanding of and accomplishment of required skills, generally a minimum of one-year work or applicable internship experience or alternatively, education level preferredComputer literate in word processing and spreadsheet applicationsStrong written and verbal skillsBasic mathematics skills, strong customer service orientationAble to organize own work in a manner that assures accurate completion, and is attentive to detail with strong multi-tasking and time management skills
