A leader in the Forrester New Wave, we will hire 1,700 passionate new Mirakl Workers globally over the next 3 years.To support this rapid adoption of the marketplace model, and take an active part in our growth, Mirakl is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer. This is a contract to perm position.Your Impact: The successful candidate will be pivotal in shaping how Mirakl customers, partners, and employees learn the platform. This role will be responsible for architecting and building content for blended learning paths serving both technical and functional roles. Our goal is to build rich, interactive, engaging courses that drive adoption and stickiness. This is a contract to perm position. What you will do at Mirakl:

• Develop Mirakl platform technical aptitude and functional expertise as you learn the eCommerce Marketplace vertical and workflows.
• Work with SMEs to co-develop/enhance rich ILT, eLearning, and micro-learning content that balances cognitive load and supports Adult Learning Theory.
• Flex your innovation capacity and ideation as you help Mirakl imagine world-class learning.
• Build both B2C and B2B content across different retail verticals.
• Participate in the construction of a Mirakl certification program including job task analysis and item development workshops.
• Become a trusted advisor capable of interviewing customers/partners and gathering requirements while understanding what they are solving for.
• Develop a framework to measure/track adoption across targeted audiences.
• Collaborate with global team members in EMEA, LATAM, APAC What Mirakl is looking for in a Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Instructional Training and Design, or undergraduate in a related field with a masters in Instructional Design.
  • Applied experience with adult learning methodologies, such as ADDIE or Rapid Prototype.
  • 6-8 years of experience with experience writing about technical topics; eCommerce workflows, data-interchange formats such as JSON/XML, and/or RESTful APIs helpful.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, various graphics tools; helpful to have exposure to micro-learning, video, responsive design.
  • Previous responsibilities developing content creation process and standards.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and takes initiative to propose new ideas.
  • Comfortable becoming the Mirakl thought leader for content construction and information architecture.
  • Interest in developing blended learning paths for both technical and functional roles.
  • Experience with a learning management system, xAPI helpful.
  • Understanding of SaaS software delivery model would be a plus.
